Inaugural Event

The School for Synodality’s aim is to help embed synodality in the Church in England and Wales, and for every step of its development it’s been important to consult as widely as possible. To help put content into our plans we came together with 60 people from Diocese, Religious Orders, Catholic Agencies and other Catholic charities and organisations to explore with us what the next steps were for the synodal development of the Church in England and Wales. The overnight event, held at High Leigh conference centre, was immensely fruitful and has helped us to confirm the direction we’re now taking.

As well as sharing with us at the event, so many of those who came to the event are involved in working groups, helping support resource development at the moment, or plan to get involved in the process as things develop at a later date, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their contribution.
